Empowering Women – Strengthening Communities!

26.02.2025 NGO Lady – CC 4 Women with the support of UNMIK – United Nations Mission in Kosovo and Kryeqyteti Prishtina opened the handicraft shop “721 Villages”, an inspiring initiative, dedicated to empowering women artisans across Kosovo!

For nearly two decades, Lady has been a driving force in supporting women—particularly those from rural areas, minority communities, and head of household—helping them gain financial independence and visibility in the marketplace.

With the launch of a new physical shop and a cutting-edge mobile sales van, our work is reaching new heights, bringing empowerment and opportunity to even more women. This marks a pivotal moment in their journey of progress and change!

The name “721 Villages” represents the exact number of villages in Kosovo, highlighting the project’s commitment to supporting women from every corner of Kosovo while preserving traditional craftsmanship. The mobile van will not only serve as a moving marketplace but also as a meeting space, reaching women in different communities and fostering collaboration.
